Dr. Prokuski is an Orthopaedic Trauma surgeon. Dr. Prokuski graduated Magna Cum Lade with a B.A. in Chemistry in 1988 from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She completed medical school and residency at the University of Iowa College of Medicine. After residency, Dr. Prokuski began her practice at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Dr. Prokuski joined Sonoran Orthopaedics in 2009 where she treats patients with acute fractures of the upper extremities (arms, elbows), legs, and pelvis. She also takes care of complications that arise from injuries including non-unions, mal-unions, infections, and amputations. Her elective specialties include post-traumatic elbow reconstruction, with over a decade of expertise in making stiff elbows move again, along with bone health and osteoporosis evaluation and management.
